The initiative is made possible thanks to the cooperation with the Ministry, Dependent Institutions, the National Employment and Skills Agency, the Career Office near the Public and Private Universities and Vocational Schools, the Protic Resource Center, etc. and includes:
- Teaching: giving lectures for specific ICT knowledge in Universities and Vocational Schools.
- Professional practice: we allow students to do professional practice (internships) for specific knowledge in the company's premises; participation in tests towards employment in the company.
- Curriculum: suggestions given to decision-makers in the field, for changes aimed at aligning the educational curriculum with the needs of the ICT sector, i.e. adapting the current market needs (DEMAND), with the skills and knowledge of the student after graduation (OFFER).
"Communication Progress" has been part of the Management Board of the "Software" Professional School, "Hermann Gmeiner", SOS for years. The contribution of "Communication Progress" consists of:
- The adaptation of curricula to the needs and expectations of the Albanian ICT market;
- Planning and implementation of resources, infrastructure and logistics necessary for teaching international standards;
- Obtaining a contingent of graduates with high professional and organizational skills, who are allowed productive and immediate employment after graduation.
Impact on employment growth:
- Members of the Information and Communication Technology Sectoral Committee, under the direction of the National Agency for Education, Vocational Training and Qualifications.
- Active participation in education and professional training issues, through the status as a licensed Professional Training Center.
- Strategy for increasing skills and consequently employment in the country through programs with a focus on Training of Trainers.
